This week, I battle the the mega-sniffles* to bring you the magnificent Erland and the Carnival as artist of the week. Their second album, Nightingale, is out now on Full Time Hobby. Also this week, I initiate my own battle of the bands, the participants of which may find amusing. They are probably more likely to think it's unfunny and out of order, though. *I only mention it once and edited out all the sniffing (although I do sound awful).
