Magic Arm is Artist of the Month as we preview tracks from his long (long (long)) awaited second album Images Rolling, out in April on Switchflicker.
I’m not sure what else happens this month as I’m writing this whilst still recording in order to save time (I have to be at work in an hour and a half). Who says men can’t multi-task?

Mat Riviere is artists of the month. I think he has a cool name. Anyway, his second album, Not Even Doom Music, is out in April on Brainlove Records. Pre-order it from here and get the MP3s immediately. Technology, right? Wow.
Also, this month, I suffer something of a giggling fit and call you all wankers. Standard.

HAPPY (belated) NEW YEAR!
Mazes are the first Artist of the Month for 2013. Their second album, Ores and Minerals, is out on February 18th on Fat Cat Records.
Also, halfway through the show I came up with a new feature on the spot. I think it may be the greatest thing I’ve ever done, surpassing my “literature rates on Coruscant” bit from all those years ago.

As ever, for those who can’t be bothered listening, here is a full run down of all the acts who made the 2012 Festive Bestive. You can still listen to the show here.
Happy New Year.
The delightful Laura J Martin is Artist Of The Month for the last regular show of the year before December’s Festive Bestive (no more bubbler shows I’m afraid).
Not only does Laura have a new EP out on Static Caravan, she is also co-headlining this year’s Cloud Sounds Xmas Bash at Night and Day on Friday, December 14th. Unashamedly, I spend most of the show plugging it. You can’t blame me though, because HOLY SHIT IT LOOKS AMAZING!
I also give a rewind to a jingle for the first time ever. Worth it though. It’s astonishing.

The Soundcarriers are artist of the month. They have a new single out on The Great Pop Supplement. One of the tracks features Elijah Wood. Ooooh fancy…I don’t play that track. Instead, I play the other side of the single, as well as looking back at some of the finest tracks in The Soundcarriers excellent back catalogue.
Also, this month I talk briefly about my experience at Festival Number 6, but I don’t mention that I’ve quit my job and shaved my head. It’s not all about me, you know…it’s about the music.
