This week, the Wirral’s By The Sea are artist of the week. The split 7″ they feature on is available here.
The other side of that record is by The See See. I don’t have that track to play, but to make up for it, I play a new (and frankly disturbing) jingle written by their keyboardist. He’s a bad man.

This week, FOR ONLY THE SECOND TIME EVER, there is a joint artist of the week. Not sure why I keep making such a big deal out of that? If anything, it’s just rude.
Anyway, the two people in question are Awesome Wells and Jonnie Common. They both have albums out on the wonderful Red Deer Club. That’s why I’ve done it. I don’t just throw this show together, you know?

It’s been a while. Welcome back to me, yeah? I’m not apologising here for being away for so long as I do it about a hundred times during the show. In fact, I talk so much shit this week, I had to bump a song which was over 4 and a half minutes long…whoops.
Anyway, during the very small window when I’m not talking, King Post Kitsch is artist of the week. His debut album is ace and available from here.

While I have spent the weekend at a charity event watching The Loungs dance to Erasure, young Daniel from Bag Thing and Hear Here has taken over the show.
Enjoy.

Hello you. On this week’s show we have an album preview from Manchester’s own Driver Drive Faster. The album, Open House, is out next month on the always magnificent Akoustik Anarkhy.
Also, this week we have a mini festival plug for the mini festival that is The Imploding Inevitable Festival. Hopefully they won’t cancel the entire thing, just because I plugged them, which is what happened with The Trip Festival. They blame poor ticket sales but we all know that’s not the case!

This week, I battle sleep deprivation and a hangover to bring you a wonderful Trip Festival special. Pulco is artist of the week.
As you can see, it’s going to be an amazing festival. Gutted I can’t go. Is two weeks long enough to sabotage the relationship of the guy whose wedding I’m going to that weekend?

Once again, I’m sorry that there was no takeover last week (not my fault), but now I’m back and better than ever. Possibly. Doubtfully.
Anyway, the multi-talented, extremely friendly and aesthetically pleasing Sara Lowes is artist of the week. Her debut album Back To Creation is out on May 23rd on Through The Railings, a label so amazing, they don’t seem to have a website…

HOORAY! It’s the 4th Annual Cloud Sounds Welsh Special. By far and away, the greatest hour of radio all year.
Following in the footsteps of the Texas Radio Band, Euros Childs and Richard James, H.Hawkline is artist of the week. A career highlight, no doubt. This includes an exclusive track from his forthcoming album, The Strange Uses Of Ox Gall.
Also this week, I say little else other than ‘I’ve probably pronounced that wrong’ and ‘I’m not even going to try and pronounce that.’
BRILLIANT!

This week, we sell our soul to The Company Store as we have The Sixteen Tonnes as artist of the week.
Also this week, there’s just a lot of hungover ramblings about 90′s American indie, releasing albums by bands who have split up and the like. Same old, same old.

The Son(s) are artist of the week. They have a wonderful album out now on Olive Grove Records.
Please insert an informative and witty line about the show here, while I go and play in the sun.
