Weather, right?
What better way to enjoy it than listening to the sunshine psyche of artist of the month, The See See? They have a new album out called Fountayne Mountain and they are playing Manchester on June 9th. Tickets are available here, and, if you don’t come, I will literally smash your face in.

Rejoice! Not only am I back for my second show of the year, but I’ve brought three tracks from the brand new Junipers album, Paint The Ground. Summer must finally be here then, right?
Also this month, I present the show half asleep, talk for an awfully long time about pyjamas and make a plea for medical assistance. PLUS WE HAVE REWIND! I WONDER WHICH BAND WILL GET ?!
There may also be a rogue cough / throat clear in there somewhere. Apologies in advance.

In this week’s Sound From The Other City Special, a band who aren’t playing Sound From The Other City are artist of the week. Go figure. As they say…
The band are Islands Lost At Sea and their début album ‘Are Having A Lovely Time’ is featured.

The world’s most prolific musician, Chips For The Poor is artist of the week as we preview his first single in 5 years…
Also, this week, I confuse a brass section with a string section (I’m a fucking moron) and I reveal my favourite film. As a treat, here’s the original trailer.

Arguably the next Michael Jackson (not to mention last year’s winner of the Cloud Sounds Festive Bestive), The Voluntary Butler Scheme is artist of the week as we preview his superb début album ‘At Breakfast, Dinner, Tea’. This may have been an interesting show if he hadn’t put his whole sodding album on myspace the morning I recorded it…never mind. I ate two pizzas last night. What of it?

This week, we try and set a new world record for the amount of songs played in an hour long podcast. I’m not sure if that world record exists though. I doubt it… This includes: Eitha Tal Ffranco The Voluntary Butler Scheme Wild Honey The Forest The Fountain Ivan Campo The Junipers KateGoes… Lazy Bones [...]
