I’m back baby! If you have any interest in where I’ve been, just listen to the show. I spent what felt like the entire show talking about it. Boring.

After an elongated and highly enjoyable break (weekends are fun when you don’t have to do anything), I AM BACK! And, as always with the first show of the year, it’s all new music, never before heard on the show.

This week, the world’s most talented children outside of Hogwarts (a reference for all the kids out there…especially as THEY’RE KIDS BOOKS!) Y Morgrug are artist of the week. The fact that they’re only 12 years old is, frankly, astounding.

Cloud Sounds – 8th May 2010
A few years ago, I said ‘if you only ever listen to one Cloud Sounds, make sure it’s this one.’ That show had a record low number of listeners. I won’t make that mistake again, but you really should listen this week as Conquering Animal Sound are artist of the week. They are so shit hot it makes me want to explode like a balloon with a grenade in it (I stole that from 30 Rock).
Also, this week, I reveal who gets the official Cloud Sounds endorsement for the massive ballache that is this year’s Green Poll.
Plus, there are TWO new features. Not bad for a show that, in four years, has never even had one…

David Mysterious is artist of the week as we hear tracks from his (unfortunately last) album ‘Jongleur Du Morte’ released on the ever wonderful Peski Records. I also spend most of my time this week talking about gig nights and the imminent Festive Bestive leaving me no time to say anything interesting or funny. Soz. Hopefully I make up for this by playing all the previous winners of the most self indulgent radio special known to man. If you’re a recent listener, this may be quite exciting. If you’ve been listening for a while, it’s probably pretty boring. Soz again.
