Cloud Sounds – March 2013

Magic Arm is Artist of the Month as we preview tracks from his long (long (long)) awaited second album Images Rolling, out in April on Switchflicker.

I’m not sure what else happens this month as I’m writing this whilst still recording in order to save time (I have to be at work in an hour and a half). Who says men can’t multi-task?

Cloud Sounds – November 2012

The delightful Laura J Martin is Artist Of The Month for the last regular show of the year before December’s Festive Bestive (no more bubbler shows I’m afraid).

Not only does Laura have a new EP out on Static Caravan, she is also co-headlining this year’s Cloud Sounds Xmas Bash at Night and Day on Friday, December 14th. Unashamedly, I spend most of the show plugging it. You can’t blame me though, because HOLY SHIT IT LOOKS AMAZING!

I also give a rewind to a jingle for the first time ever. Worth it though. It’s astonishing.

Cloud Sounds – April 2012

Cloud Sounds – 2nd July 2011

This week, the Wirral’s By The Sea are artist of the week. The split 7″ they feature on is available here.

The other side of that record is by The See See. I don’t have that track to play, but to make up for it, I play a new (and frankly disturbing) jingle written by their keyboardist. He’s a bad man.

Cloud Sounds – 27th February 2010

This week I am as happy as a kitten chasing a leaky cow as we preview The Loungs‘ second album, ‘Big Wow’.

There is a, frankly unbelievable, 4 tracks from the band who are the current holders of the much coveted Cloud Sounds Festive Bestive crown. They are also pretty much the sole reason why I started doing this massively shite show. Their fault then…
